Jessica Rau is a singer and actress whose career brought her around the world before she settled in Los Angeles. Jessica toured internationally as a child, featuring regularly as a soloist with the Glen Ellyn Children's Chorus. She earned a degree in commercial music, vocal performance from Belmont University in Nashville and then moved abroad to perform at English Village theme park in Paju, South Korea. While there, Jessica received opportunities to appear onscreen and behind the mic for English educational materials and children's television shows. She moved to Seoul and began her career in voiceover and session singing in earnest, booking more than 6,000 hours on mic in six years.
Jessica made the move to Los Angeles in 2012 and continues to focus on voiceover and session singing as well as live music and theatre. The growing list of projects that feature Jessica's voice includes: Sing, Pitch Perfect 3, Wonder Park, It, Doctor Strange, The Middle, Castle, Penn Zero: Part Time Hero, The Good Wife and many national commercials. With her voiceover friends, The Green Giraffes, Jessica is creating Free Candy Van, a sketch-comedy podcast. Onstage, she starred in Pretendo, an 8-Bit Musical with Center Theatre Group/ Cold Tofu Productions and premiered an original one-woman show at The Hollywood Fringe Festival; she has featured as a soloist for special events at Disneyland Anaheim and Tokyo; and she sings regularly with Los Robles Master Chorale and as a holiday caroler around Southern California. Jessica embraces the diversity and creativity that come with each day and new opportunity, always seeking to learn and enjoy the process.
